Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST.
Who Can Enter
1.Eligible contestants must be legal U.S. residents of the State(s) of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
2.Eligible contestants must be 18 years of age or older as of October 21, 2009.
3.Employees (including, without limitation, part-time or temporary employees) of Honda of Winston Salem and the immediate family and other household members (i.e., spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, roommates, housemates, significant others, partners, siblings (half and full) and the steps of each of the foregoing) (“Family/Household Members”) of each of the above are NOT eligible to enter and/or to win the Contest.
How to Enter
1.Submissions will be accepted, from November 1, 2009 7:01am (Eastern Time, regardless of the time zone the entrant is located in) through December 15, 2009 at 11:59pm (Eastern Time, regardless of the time zone the entrant is located in),
2.Go to motostar.hondaws.com, login to your user account, and submit your entry via the “Submit your Entry” link.
Entry and Video Guidelines
One video either of the entrant, recorded by the entrant, edited by the entrant or any combination of the aforementioned. The video must be in one of the following digital media formats: AVI Player (.avi),Windows Media (.wmv), Quicktime (.mov), Flash (.flv), .mp4, .mpeg, or .mpg. The maximum file size is 100MB. Honda of Winston Salem recommends but does not require that following Video Encoding Settings: CODEC: H.264, dimensions of 640x480 pixels or 640x360 pixels, Audio: 16-bit AAC auto at a sampling frequency of 44.1kHz and a bit rate of 192kbps. The video MUST NOT contain any copyrighted music, video, lyrics or other material.
1.Only the individual who submits the entry can be declared the winner of said contest. Other person’s image, voice or talent can be captured in the video, however only the entrant can qualify for the prize.
2.All entrants who submit an entry agree to the following and Honda of Winston Salem will require, as a condition of entry, that entrants affirmatively check a box or an “I agree” button expressly confirming the following:
3.Entrant represents and warrants that he/she is over 18 years of age and a legal resident of the applicable state(s) required for entry on this website.
4.Entrant represents and warrants that he/she own the rights to, or have obtained permission to use, the video submitted with the entry.
5.Entrant represents and warrants that all persons in the attached video are either (a) the Entrant or (b) a willing participant knowledgeable of said contest and releasing claims of rights to said video and prizes.
6.Entrant represents and warrants that he/she authorizes Honda of Winston Salem to use the video in any way Honda of Winston Salem sees fit.
7.Entrant agrees and acknowledges that Honda of Winston Salem and contest sponsors and their respective affiliates, parents, employees, agents and all other related sponsors may use for advertising and/or promotional purposes, entrant’s name, image, video submission, other entry materials and/or biographical information on radio, TV broadcasts, newspaper advertisements, on websites and/or any other medium in connection with participation in this contest or otherwise without the payment of any additional compensation.
8.By submitting a video in a Honda of Winston Salem contest, entrant agrees to indemnify Honda of Winston Salem should any representations and warranties made by entrant herein or in the applicable contest rules prove to be false or inaccurate.
9.Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the contest rules are available to him/her at motostar.hondaws.com/rules, has had an opportunity to review them before entering this contest and agrees to be legally bound by those contest rules.
10.Failure to submit all of the above items in one submission/entry will result in immediate disqualification.
11.No more than one entry permitted per email address.
12.Entries must not contain any indecency, profanity, obscenity or unsuitable content as determined by Honda of Winston Salem in its sole discretion. Station staff will review each video for unsuitable content. All videos containing any content deemed unsuitable or inappropriate by Honda of Winston Salem shall be disqualified in the sole discretion of management. No notification of such disqualification will be provided.
13.Contestants in this Contest may not violate any federal, state or local laws and may not harm or endanger themselves or other persons or property. If Honda of Winston Salem deems that a Contestant or any winner may have created a public hazard, cheated, engaged in improper activity, caused interference with or destruction of property and/or utilized public safety resources, such Contestant / winner may be disqualified in Station’s sole discretion.
How to Win – Grand Prize Winner
1.On or about December 16, 2009, a panel of Honda of Winston Salem-selected judges will select one (1) grand prize winning entry video from among all eligible entries based on any lawful criteria they deem desirable. The grand prize winner will be announced by on motostar.hondaws.com and posted at Honda of Winston Salem on or about December 16, 2009.
2.THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE GRAND PRIZE WINNER IN THIS CONTEST.
Prize
1.One Cardo Scalarider Teamset Q2 will be awarded to the winning contestant.
2.Prize is not returnable, or exchangeable for cash or store credit.
3.Other specific restrictions regarding awarded prizes will be provided, if applicable, to the winner.
This particular contest will be governed solely and exclusively by these official contest rules.
